Germantown Academy will conduct All-Comers Track & Field Meets on Tuesday evenings June 26, July 10 and July 24 at their newly constructed athletic complex in Fort Washington, PA. Get Ready for the Junior Olympic Championships
America's next generation of track and field stars will be competing throughout the summer in the USATF Junior Olympic Outdoor Track & Field Championships and will take center stage at the national championships in Baltimore. Here is a summary of the Junior Olympics schedule:
Preliminary: The Junior Olympics begin with two area qualifier meets -- June 2 at Glasgow High School in Delaware and June 3 at Ben Johnson Stadium at Germantown High School in Philadelphia. The top six finishers in each event and age division advance to the association championship.
Association: The Mid-Atlantic Association Championships will be on Saturday, June 16, at West Chester University in Chester, PA. Athletes must have qualified at the preliminary meets in order to attend the Association championships. The top four finishers will advance to Regionals.
Regional: The Region 2 Championships will be July 5-8 at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. The regional is hosted by the USATF Mid-Atlantic Association. The top five finishers advance to Nationals.
National: The National Junior Olympic Track &: Field Championships will be July 23-29 at Hughes Stadium at Morgan State University in Baltimore.For more information, click here.

The 2012 calendar of USATF national, regional and association meets for youth athletes in the Mid-Atlantic area is available here. Remember that registration for all youth events must be done in advance and on-line.
Junior Olympics Cross Country Results
The results of the 2011 Mid-Atlantic Junior Olympics Cross-Country Championships are now posted here. The championships were held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.
